Bergenfield SID Will Begin Work With Newly Approved Budget

The Bergenfield Council has approved the 2017 Special Improvement District budget

BERGENFIELD, NJ–– The Bergenfield Special Improvement District (BSID) is pleased to
announce the approval of their 2017 budget that will be utilized for beautification projects,
economic revitalization, community events and more. After working diligently with the governing
body officials and members of the council over the past several months, the BSID is excited to
continue their mission of improving the local economy and the face of Bergenfield.

Stuart Z. Koperweis who has been appointed BSID’s Executive Director is known for his work
supporting the artistic and commercial resurgences of various municipalities including Jersey
City, Asbury Park, Belmar, Keyport, Fort Lee and more. “The Bergenfield improvement district is
delighted to have the support of the Borough Council. We look forward to working closely with
the council members, mayor, government officials and our stakeholders in putting forth new and
exciting programs,” Koperweis commented.

Tommy O’Reilly, a long standing board member and local business owner added, “The
Bergenfield improvement district is proud to have the confidence of the Borough. We look
forward to working closely with the council members and our stakeholders in putting forth new
and exciting programs; as well as updating some of our standing projects.”
